A Lifetime of passion for art

Artist and photographer, Lauren Cowles has been honing her craft for decades. Born in Belgium and growing up in South Africa and Florida, as well as an extensive travel journal have given her a fantastic insight into the styles, expressions and iconography of many cultures, enabling her to weave a worldwide collection of voices in her art. Lauren earned a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She has won the Reading Arts Center "Best of Show", and an "Honorable Mention" with the CPSA Cincinnati. Now residing in Cincinnati Ohio, Lauren continues to work in photography and produces charcoal, pastel, graphite and colored pencil art from wildlife and people.
